Narrative:
After top of climb; heard a clacking sound from the APU fire handle. Got an EICAS APU fire followed by a warning APU fire. Ran qrc. All fire warnings went out. Did a fire detection test which passed. Dumped fuel on the way back to ZZZ. Landed runway xxr -- landing weight was 629.7 pounds. Fire trucks checked out aircraft. Taxied to gate. No indication of a fire found.

Narrative: AFTER TOP OF CLB; HEARD A CLACKING SOUND FROM THE APU FIRE HANDLE. GOT AN EICAS APU FIRE FOLLOWED BY A WARNING APU FIRE. RAN QRC. ALL FIRE WARNINGS WENT OUT. DID A FIRE DETECTION TEST WHICH PASSED. DUMPED FUEL ON THE WAY BACK TO ZZZ. LANDED RWY XXR -- LNDG WT WAS 629.7 LBS. FIRE TRUCKS CHKED OUT ACFT. TAXIED TO GATE. NO INDICATION OF A FIRE FOUND.
