Narrative:
Climbing out of ZZZ. Using 'climb-1' setting going through 16000 ft 290 KIAS. EICAS full page comes up; with amber vibration hp on #2 engine. Around 5.0 in amber. Per QRH; no icing section of checklist for vibration. Reduced power; able to get out of amber. Increased a little power it went back into amber. Reduced power to idle. Returned to ZZZ. Never felt or saw any other indications of actual vibration or surging. On taxi in using idle; left engine hp vibration .3; right engine hp vibration 1.8. Shut down right engine after 3 min cool down during taxi in. Turbine ate itself.
