Narrative:
About 20 mins into flight and passing through FL190; we heard a bang. We had a #2 engine failure light even though the #2 engine was in operation. We followed our checklist which calls for engine shutdown. We complied; and because we were heavy; we decided to land at most suitable airport in the vicinity. We landed without any incident. We discovered that the #2 engine service door popped open (that's the bang we heard at FL190).
