Narrative:
Cleared via alpha taxiway to gate. Poor to no markings on field at exit of runway 10L and taxiway D for use of alpha vs ramp. Add airport markers at the intersection for txwys on and approaching so as to be consistent with other airports.callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: this is not a very busy airport and the taxi error did not seem to elicit much of a response from the ground controller; except to change the taxi route. A proper sign would be beneficial; however.

Title: B737-500 CAPT REPORTS LACK OF TXWY SIGNS AT BOI AS CONTRIBUTING TO A TXWY INCURSION.
Narrative: CLEARED VIA ALPHA TXWY TO GATE. POOR TO NO MARKINGS ON FIELD AT EXIT OF RWY 10L AND TXWY D FOR USE OF ALPHA VS RAMP. ADD ARPT MARKERS AT THE INTXN FOR TXWYS ON AND APCHING SO AS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH OTHER ARPTS.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THIS IS NOT A VERY BUSY ARPT AND THE TAXI ERROR DID NOT SEEM TO ELICIT MUCH OF A RESPONSE FROM THE GND CTLR; EXCEPT TO CHANGE THE TAXI RTE. A PROPER SIGN WOULD BE BENEFICIAL; HOWEVER.
