Narrative:
Air carrier X entered the terminal ramp parking area without contacting ramp control. When the crew called in-range for gate assignment; they were given the information to contact ramp control at 129.95.

Title: DFW RAMP CONTROLLER EXPRESSED CONCERN REGARDING AN AIR CARRIER FLT CREW'S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH RAMP COMMUNICATIONS PROCEDURES.
Narrative: ACR X ENTERED THE TERMINAL RAMP PARKING AREA WITHOUT CONTACTING RAMP CTL. WHEN THE CREW CALLED IN-RANGE FOR GATE ASSIGNMENT; THEY WERE GIVEN THE INFO TO CONTACT RAMP CTL AT 129.95.
