Narrative:

Lga: arrived runway 22 -- windsocks are not placed in visible area to crews. Both windsocks in the vicinity are cluttered up/obscured by ILS building/transmitter sites. Also; there is a strong likelihood that the windsocks are not indicating the true wind direction and velocity due to interference from these adjacent buildings. The windsock for runway 22; on the east side of the runway (and north of runway 13); needs to be moved to the approach end of the runway 22 where it can be clearly seen.
