Narrative:
After being clrd for takeoff on runway 34 a deer crossed in front of our path and we ran over him with the nosewheel. We were above 60 knots. The flight was aborted and we taxied back to the terminal. We advised our operations, the tower and the passengers, (5) on board. After inspection of the aircraft we only saw where we had run over the deer with the nosewheel. No damage was noted, we continued to houston, and maintenance reviewed the aircraft, also finding no damage. The factors were obviously a deer on the runway and it was just before sun up. There should be better fences on the airport to prevent this from happening in the future.
