Narrative:
During initial climb; flight attendant called and said the passenger and both flight attendants smelled and saw smoke in the cabin. Declared emergency with ATC and made l-hand traffic back to departure runway. Ran all appropriate checklists; complied with all company procedures and requested crash fire rescue equipment. Notified flight attendant of evacuate/evacuation; configured; landed safely and exited the active onto a crossing runway. Parked aircraft and commenced evacuate/evacuation checklist. All passenger and crew deplaned safely and without incident. Evacuate/evacuation was performed; as instructed; in an orderly and safe fashion. Wrote aircraft up and was later cleared by company maintenance. Repositioned the aircraft this morning to ZZZ1 with 2 mechanics and original flight and cabin crew. I want to say that the 2 flight attendants and first officer all did an excellent job.
