Narrative:
On nov/08 around XA30; I performed a 'general visual inspection' on the forward cargo compartment on aircraft X per #3 service check card step 1. During this inspection; I didn't notice any (obvious) damage to the neoprene aft wall. I was notified by my supervisor that upon arrival at ZZZ maintenance performed a 'detail inspection of the aft wall as requested and discovered 2 missing fasteners and 4 (other) damaged.' interim repair was performed and the aircraft was returned to ZZZ. I did perform a 'detail inspection' as per the card and (obviously) missed this item (unintentionally). To the best of my knowledge; the aircraft was airworthy. This item was not (intentionally) overlooked. I will in the future perform more detailed inspection for this area in order to prevent any further problems. I also will recommend that this card be changed to indicate detail inspection requirement. Should reflect a 'detail inspection' and not a 'general inspection.'
