Narrative:
This statement is concerning the operation of flight X departing shanghai; china to ZZZ. I was 1 of 2 first officer's aboard and there were 2 capts aboard. At approximately XA00; I was in the crew rest facility and was awakened by a call stating that there had been an issue with one of the aircraft engines and to report to the cockpit. Upon entering the flight deck; the on-break captain and I were briefed on the engine response alert that was sensed on the #2 engine. We reviewed the engine response procedure and the actions taken by the on-duty captain and first officer. It appeared that the engine was operating normally at that time. We also reviewed the recent airlines B777-200ER aircraft operating manual bulletin dealing with fuel icing and the engine response procedure. The on-break captain and I stayed on the flight deck helping the on-duty crew stay aware of all diversion options and related WX considerations. Because of the continued operation of the #2; which had been apparently returned to normal operation by the completion of the engine response checklist; we elected to continue the flight to ZZZ. The on-break captain and I assumed control of the aircraft about 1 hour prior to landing; ensured each engine responded to maximum climb thrust prior to descent and performed an uneventful landing with the other captain and first officer assisting.

Title: A B777 FLIGHT CREW ON AN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT NOTED AN 'ENGINE RESPONSE' ALERT MESSAGE AND RAN THE PROCEDURE. THE ENGINE RAN NORMALLY THEREAFTER.
Narrative: THIS STATEMENT IS CONCERNING THE OP OF FLT X DEPARTING SHANGHAI; CHINA TO ZZZ. I WAS 1 OF 2 FO'S ABOARD AND THERE WERE 2 CAPTS ABOARD. AT APPROX XA00; I WAS IN THE CREW REST FACILITY AND WAS AWAKENED BY A CALL STATING THAT THERE HAD BEEN AN ISSUE WITH ONE OF THE ACFT ENGS AND TO RPT TO THE COCKPIT. UPON ENTERING THE FLT DECK; THE ON-BREAK CAPT AND I WERE BRIEFED ON THE ENG RESPONSE ALERT THAT WAS SENSED ON THE #2 ENG. WE REVIEWED THE ENG RESPONSE PROC AND THE ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE ON-DUTY CAPT AND FO. IT APPEARED THAT THE ENG WAS OPERATING NORMALLY AT THAT TIME.
