It's time to clean up the NOTAM overload. This has now become unsafe. The NOTAM printout is so lengthy and much of it irrelevant that the relevant items are easily overlooked or minimized. Jfk comes to mind; but there are simply too many cities to which this is applicable.

Title: ACR CAPTAIN IS FRUSTRATED WITH LENGTH AND LACK OF SELECTIVITY OF NOTAMS ASSOCIATED WITH HIS FLIGHTS.
Narrative: IT'S TIME TO CLEAN UP THE NOTAM OVERLOAD. THIS HAS NOW BECOME UNSAFE. THE NOTAM PRINTOUT IS SO LENGTHY AND MUCH OF IT IRRELEVANT THAT THE RELEVANT ITEMS ARE EASILY OVERLOOKED OR MINIMIZED. JFK COMES TO MIND; BUT THERE ARE SIMPLY TOO MANY CITIES TO WHICH THIS IS APPLICABLE.
