Narrative:
On vectors south on the ORD3 departure procedure. Climbing out of 17000 ft the controller said 'say speed;' to which we replied 330 KIAS. He stated we were not in compliance with the SID speed of 250 KIAS. We said we would slow and he said 'never mind.' he then switched us to a different frequency. The cmksy fix where we filed initially had a box note showing 250 KIAS on departure climb. The box on the chart referred to the fix as cemsky; it was misspelled. No further requests/problems from ATC.
