Narrative:

The #1 CSD low oil pressure light started illuminating around 1;500 ft above aerodrome elevation. We had already configured and accomplished the before landing checklist. We elected to continue (we were in visual conditions) but I started the APU and put it on the bus just in case. We landed uneventfully and taxied clear. We reviewed the quick reference handbook and I shut down the engine. In hindsight; I should have disconnected the CSD before I shut down the engine per the quick reference handbook. Taxied to the gate and notified dispatch and maintenance and put an entry in the logbook. Follow the quick reference handbook even if you are 100 yards from the gate.
