Narrative:
When complying with dispatch deviation procedures for MEL 30-03 the wrong cannon plug was inadvertently disconnected. Reviewed MEL for proper procedures. Advised entire station of the need to read and understand procedures before taking action. Contributing factors: communication between technicians and lead/supervisor. As the supervisor; I should have monitored the work performed closer.

Title: A Maintenance Supervisor reports that one of his Mechanics; while trying to comply with the Dispatch Deviation Procedures (DDP) for a B737-800 right engine anti-ice valve MEL 30-03; inadvertently disconnected the wrong canon plug.
