Narrative:
Upon arrival at nome I was confronted by an FAA maintenance inspector. He had been notified by an FAA inspector in unalakleet that there were a few discrepancies on my aircraft. When I did the preflight I had noticed some discrepancies but since I was going VFR part 91 and the plane was going up for maintenance and none of the discrepancies were affecting airworthiness I made the flight. The outcome was they accused me of a possible violation of at far.

Title: PLT OF ATX SMT ACCUSED OF POSSIBLE FEDERAL AVIATION REG VIOLATION.
Narrative: UPON ARR AT NOME I WAS CONFRONTED BY AN FAA MAINT INSPECTOR. HE HAD BEEN NOTIFIED BY AN FAA INSPECTOR IN UNALAKLEET THAT THERE WERE A FEW DISCREPANCIES ON MY ACFT. WHEN I DID THE PREFLT I HAD NOTICED SOME DISCREPANCIES BUT SINCE I WAS GOING VFR PART 91 AND THE PLANE WAS GOING UP FOR MAINT AND NONE OF THE DISCREPANCIES WERE AFFECTING AIRWORTHINESS I MADE THE FLT.
