Narrative:

We had flown this airplane all day flying multiple visual approaches with the autopilot coupled to the ILS approach with no problems. Upon our arrival into avl; we continued the same. We had already intercepted the localizer course and were waiting for the GS to capture. Just prior to the fix ennka; we noticed a pitch down of about 5 degrees followed by a pitch up change of about 10 degrees from the 5 degree down position. The associated airspeed loss took place. The autopilot was chasing the movements of the GS. We disconnected the autopilot and hand flew the rest of the visual approach. Once on the ground we obtained a phone number for ZTL explaining the situation and asked if any other deviations have been reported. The controller stated that none had; but thanked us for the information. We flew a visual into avl earlier last week and noticed something similar; but thought it might be a fluke. In light of recent events in buf and email communications from our management; we feel that it is critically important to convey this information to you as well.
