Narrative:
We received a left reverser unlock light almost immediately after takeoff. After the aircraft was cleaned up; the captain asked the tower for vectors back to ZZZ to make a precautionary landing. We were immediately given a turn for a left downwind on runway 1. We also decided to reduce power on the left engine to flight idle while captain completed the checklist items for the caution indication and the short segment. We returned to the airport and landed and upon postflight inspection; discovered the #3 inboard tire flat and the #4 outboard tire worn. The winds were reported 300 degrees at 19 KTS gusting to 25 KTS. Due to the left crosswind and the simulated single engine approach; I had a considerable amount of pressure on the upwind rudder pedal. Due to the situation; I did not properly ensure my feet were off the brake pedals. This resulted in a landing with the brakes on the upwind tires locked and resulted in 2 tires in need of replacement. Supplemental information from acn 824660: ATC asked if we need emergency equipment. I said no that we were not declaring emergency and tht it appeared that we just had indication problem.

Title: HS125 returned to departure airport after experiencing Left Reverser Unlock light after takeoff. Land in left crosswind with engine at idle for precautionary reasons. Both right main gear tires must be replaced due to brakes being engaged upon touchdown.
