Narrative:

After a normal landing on runway 12; during rollout; I handed the plane to the captain at '80 KTS.' a few seconds later; we spotted 2 pheasants on the runway. One was moving from right to left and gave us no time to react. The captain hit the brakes; but once again we had no time to react. We knew that we had hit the bird once we saw parts of the birds and feathers flying everywhere. We noticed no vibration or abnormalities with the #1 engine until we were ready to shut down and the engine was in feather. During the captain's postflight; he noticed roughly 6 inches of one of the propellers missing and feathers -- bird parts on the leading edge of the wing.
