Narrative:
While taxiing at det, eastbound on taxiway juliet, ground advised me of vehicles on taxiway and to use caution. I was getting progressive taxi clearance to bay in order to have the left starter on my aircraft replaced. I was cleared to taxi eastbound on juliet and noticed 2 vehicles on the taxiway. One veh moved while the other, a minivan, remained on the taxiway. The veh was parked on the south edge of the taxiway. It also was unattended and running. Also, on north edge of the taxiway, there was a small snowbank preventing full access of the taxiway. I angled toward the snowbank and got as close as I could in order to clear the minivan. I was still angling away from the minivan when the right main top tank came in contact with the top left rear of the minivan. I was unaware of the collision until airport personnel in the other veh advised ground of the accident. Also, the taxiway had a dip in it just north of the van. I hit this dip approximately the same time that the collision occurred. Before trying to clear the van I stopped the aircraft and looked and it looked as if I had enough room to clear the van. That is when I angled toward the north edge of taxiway at a very slow taxi speed. There was a very light coat of snow on taxiway, and the sun was out producing a good glare off the snow on the surface of the airport. Lesson learned, next time I'll maneuver aircraft in order to clear obstructions and then shutdown and go take a look, or get assistance from ground personnel. If vehicles are ever blocking my way in the future, I'll ask for clearance onto another taxiway or wait until the vehicles are moved.

Title: ATX SMT HIT A GND VEHICLE WHILE TAXIING TO MAINTENANCE AREA FOR A GENERATOR CHANGE.
Narrative: WHILE TAXIING AT DET, EBND ON TXWY JULIET, GND ADVISED ME OF VEHICLES ON TXWY AND TO USE CAUTION. I WAS GETTING PROGRESSIVE TAXI CLRNC TO BAY IN ORDER TO HAVE THE LEFT STARTER ON MY ACFT REPLACED. I WAS CLRED TO TAXI EBND ON JULIET AND NOTICED 2 VEHICLES ON THE TXWY. ONE VEH MOVED WHILE THE OTHER, A MINIVAN, REMAINED ON THE TXWY. THE VEH WAS PARKED ON THE S EDGE OF THE TXWY. IT ALSO WAS UNATTENDED AND RUNNING. ALSO, ON N EDGE OF THE TXWY, THERE WAS A SMALL SNOWBANK PREVENTING FULL ACCESS OF THE TXWY. I ANGLED TOWARD THE SNOWBANK AND GOT AS CLOSE AS I COULD IN ORDER TO CLR THE MINIVAN. I WAS STILL ANGLING AWAY FROM THE MINIVAN WHEN THE RIGHT MAIN TOP TANK CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE TOP LEFT REAR OF THE MINIVAN. I WAS UNAWARE OF THE COLLISION UNTIL ARPT PERSONNEL IN THE OTHER VEH ADVISED GND OF THE ACCIDENT. ALSO, THE TXWY HAD A DIP IN IT JUST N OF THE VAN. I HIT THIS DIP APPROX THE SAME TIME THAT THE COLLISION OCCURRED. BEFORE TRYING TO CLR THE VAN I STOPPED THE ACFT AND LOOKED AND IT LOOKED AS IF I HAD ENOUGH ROOM TO CLR THE VAN. THAT IS WHEN I ANGLED TOWARD THE N EDGE OF TXWY AT A VERY SLOW TAXI SPD. THERE WAS A VERY LIGHT COAT OF SNOW ON TXWY, AND THE SUN WAS OUT PRODUCING A GOOD GLARE OFF THE SNOW ON THE SURFACE OF THE ARPT. LESSON LEARNED, NEXT TIME I'LL MANEUVER ACFT IN ORDER TO CLR OBSTRUCTIONS AND THEN SHUTDOWN AND GO TAKE A LOOK, OR GET ASSISTANCE FROM GND PERSONNEL. IF VEHICLES ARE EVER BLOCKING MY WAY IN THE FUTURE, I'LL ASK FOR CLRNC ONTO ANOTHER TXWY OR WAIT UNTIL THE VEHICLES ARE MOVED.
