Narrative:

Cleveland, chicago center and detroit approach frequency fail to use the airline prefix when calling a flight. We were on a 4 day trip which went through their airspace each day. Each time there were many cases of this. An air carrier flight complained once--the controller responded 'roger,' and kept on not using prefixes. Once we were through as flight abc another flight came on the frequency as xabc. The controller still failed to use prefixes, which caused some confusion over clrncs. This is not an isolated case--we just experienced these centers/apches more on this trip than others.
