Narrative:
On final approach the landing gear failed to extend. Orbited airport left hand pattern at 2000 MSL. Unable to get gear down by normal means; decided to return to our departure airport for maintenance. Lowered gear manually 40 miles from airport and got three green lights. Did tower fly by for confirmation and landed without incident. Did not declare emergency.

Title: Cessna 650 flight crew returned to their departure airport when the landing gear failed to extend at their destination. The crew lowered the gear manually for landing.
