Narrative:
At FL330 I received a call from london center; 'flight abc; at pilot's discretion descend to 250 and be level at FL140 at bedek.' I replied; 'flight abc leaving FL330 now for FL140 to be level at bedek at FL140. I started down to FL140. The seat swap took place at this time between the relief pilot and the captain returning from his break. The relief pilot was in his seat at the time of this transaction and confirmed the descent to FL140. Passing FL235; we received a call from london center; 'flight abc; I wanted you to stop your descent at FL250'. The captain responded;' do you want us to stop our descent?' the controller responded; 'no; continue descent to FL140 come right 5 degrees.' we complied and were further instructed about 20-30 seconds later to come further right 5 degrees and proceed direct bedek. Flight continued as usual to landing at london heathrow.
