Narrative:
On the downwind leg of runway; the gear down before landing checklist was completed; the gear was placed in the down and locked position; and the aircraft was configured to land. A short approach was executed and upon touch down a scraping sound emanated from beneath the fuselage. After stopping; the aircraft was shut down and both occupants exited. On the ground the gear lever was verified to be in the down position; the gear doors were open; and the gear partially extended. The tower controller confirmed that the gear was in the down position prior to landing. There were no injuries or property damage other than minor damage to the aircraft.
