Narrative:
I was flying in the traffic pattern performing touch and goes. This occurred during my second touch and go. When I was on base leg of approach; I was informed by tower to beware of wake turbulence from a citation jet taking off. On transition from base to final; the citation took off; and I noted their point of rotation. I touched down before that point. My intention was a touch and go. The touchdown was smooth; without issue. Approximately 200-300 ft after touchdown; the plane veered right. I attempted to correct with left rudder pedal; but it continued to veer right. I verified I was using proper left pedal; but aircraft veered off runway onto grass. No damage was noted to airplane.
