Narrative:
Gander asked if we were deviating for weather; as he showed us a little off course. He then cleared us direct ronpo. We later figured out that per our filed and cleared route was direct to N4430 W06000. This fix was entered 4460N as it was shown on our release; but the lat & long and the entered fix was different. Normally this would be caught and fixed when we underline and circle the fixes on the over water portion of our flight plan; but this fix was prior to our coast out point. Lessons learned - if it's a lat/long check the lat/long (navdata) even if it's not on an overwater segment. Better yet; change the syntax for abbreviated fix notation on the flight release (N4460) for those fixes that contain half-degree waypoints (N4430 W06000).
