Narrative:

I had a flight check verifying new departures; which we (controllers) were only briefed on but not trained or observed how it's conducted via simulations scenarios. The flight check conducted a regular ILS runway 8 and then did a tear drop back to runway 26 and departed on a new departure procedure called sngra one departure; flight check asked me for a vector to intercept; and I believe I said 'leaving 2;000 fly heading 090' to join; but I'm not sure because the MVA was new and the implementation started this same day. First I gave a vector looking at the approach plate because I didn't know this by heart; because we were only briefed. No time was provided to study these departures. Second; the new MVA was a 10 minute briefing; no familiarization was provided; so I might have turned him below the MVA but I'm not sure. The MVA was 2;500.
