After a brief stop and aircraft walk around the aircraft departed en route on a dual instruction flight. Commercial flight training maneuvers were performed along the way. Normal flight; approach; and landing. After aircraft shutdown the baggage door was discovered open; and a box containing the fuel sampler and a spare quart of oil was missing. The baggage door was checked secure on the preflight walk around by the instructor pilot. The baggage door opened at an unknown time during the flight but was closed prior to takeoff. The box departed the aircraft also at an unknown time during the flight. The flight lasted approximately 9/10ths of an hour.
