Narrative:
Minimum crew was on board for deplaning; however there was no category to fit my circumstance. As flight attendant #3; I was not advised that 2L was to be used for deplaning. I disarmed door 2R and 2L upon arrival at gate; cross-checked myself; and proceeded to open the first class closet door. I was unaware that the agent was knocking at the 2L door to be opened; and the passenger sitting nearby proceeded to rotate the door handle of the 2L door completely open.
