Narrative:
Contract maintenance worked a blue sys hyd issue with this A320 for over 6 hrs. Aircraft signed off and assigned to crew. While hydraulic (hyd) check is not a normal for taxi; captain elected to check hyd systems prior to take-off. Blue hyd sys observed to have exact same issue that had been supposedly worked on and signed off (overpressure and low quantity). Aircraft returned to gate for correct servicing. Prior to departing; contract maintenance stated to crew the green hyd sys was a little high. Crew observed green system way over the limit and maintenance logbook write-up submitted for correction prior to departure.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: An A320 Captain reports on the inadequate Maintenance by a Contract Maintenance provider his carrier uses at one of their Stations. After six hours of working on the 'Blue' hydraulic system for 'overpressure and low quantity' problem; the A320 was released for service; only to return to the gate after taxi out for the same issues.
