Narrative:
During takeoff roll at approx 80 KTS; captain's primary flight display EFIS and captain's navigation display EFIS (two separate screens) went blank. Rejected takeoff initiated and both screens reilluminated immediately. Completed rejected takeoff; cleared runway and complied with all appropriate checklists and procedures. No other malfunctions or problems noted. Waited for brake temperatures to cool within allowable takeoff range; reconfigured; completed appropriate checklists and procedures and departed with no further problems. Company policy required filing a company flight safety report. Report was filed at termination of flight. There is no policy for making an aircraft maintenance logbook entry. Such momentary electrical 'glitches' and ECAM alerts are not uncommon in the A300 aircraft. However due to the fact it occurred during the early stages of the takeoff roll; a rejected takeoff was the safe thing to do.

Title: An A300 crew rejected a takeoff after the Captain's PFD and navigation display both blanked at about 80 KTS. The instruments returned to normal and later a second uneventful takeoff was completed.
