Narrative:
I recently became self aware that I may have applied MEL 73-6 incorrectly. The MEL is for the power management rotary selector. I read the MEL and complied with the (O) action of referencing the torque tables for torque setting and then forgot all about the automatic takeoff power control system (atpcs) being considered inoperative and possibly having to reference another MEL. Two flights were completed without any incidence. Later that day I realized that I most likely had to have referenced the MEL for atpcs inoperative for performance penalties. I believe MEL 73-6 is improperly written since there is no guidance in that particular MEL to either reference MEL 73-5 nor an (O) reference to apply performance penalties. I know I would have complied with 73-5 if there would have been a reference to it.
