In 3/88, the crew of flight was scheduled to fly frankfurt, germany, to bos (8 hours), then bos to ny's kennedy airport (1 hour, 11 mins), for a total of 9 hours and 11 mins in apparent violation of the far's re domestic flight time limitations. Air carrier was made aware of the situation and advised the crew in writing that they must continue the flight to ny.

Narrative: IN 3/88, THE CREW OF FLT WAS SCHEDULED TO FLY FRANKFURT, GERMANY, TO BOS (8 HRS), THEN BOS TO NY'S KENNEDY ARPT (1 HR, 11 MINS), FOR A TOTAL OF 9 HRS AND 11 MINS IN APPARENT VIOLATION OF THE FAR'S RE DOMESTIC FLT TIME LIMITATIONS.
