Fifty miles east of lax on river arrival; aircraft targeted by green laser from approximately 5 miles south of arrival course. Was looking toward the laser; did not lose vision; had eye exam by doctor next morning no damage found by the doctor. We landed uneventfully at lax.

Title: B767 Captain reports being targeted by green laser 50 miles east of LAX at 14000 feet. No injuries occur and flight lands safely at LAX.
