During initial climb from las the tail compartment temperature high light came on. The temperature at las was 104 F. QRH procedures were accomplished and the light went out after two minutes. Flight continued to destination.

Title: MD80 Captain experiences tail compartment temperature high light shortly after takeoff from LAS with temperature of 104 degrees. QRH procedures are complied with and light goes out after two minutes. System is restored and flight continues to destination.
