Narrative:
On flap retraction; slats stopped between position 0 to 1 with associated EICAS message le slat disagree message. Captain requested holding where we went through checklist and using alternate flap method; resolved problem. Due to fuel; captain determined we could not proceed to destination; so returned to the departure airport where we made a 20 flap approach and landing. No flap overspeed occurred and no emergency was declared.

Narrative: On flap retraction; slats stopped between position 0 to 1 with associated EICAS message LE Slat Disagree message.
