Narrative:
Two hours into the flight at FL360 in the clear at night with moderate chop the right hand number two engine thrust reverser amber unlock light flickered on and off 3 or 4 times then remained on steady with fluctuations in egt. Declared an emergency/mayday with center. Cleared to descend to FL250 direct to the departure airport. On approach encountered a spoiler problem which effected landing flare and roll out. Landed overweight (209.4k) with flaps 25. Ground fire rescue equipment met flight and terminated emergency with tower.

Title: B757 First Officer reported thrust reverser unlock light 500 miles north of the departure airport. Crew declared an emergency with Center and returned to the departure airport.
