Narrative:
After passing the final approach fix inbound on RNAV 06 at mvy we descended to MDA. Mvy tower issued a low altitude alert; seconds later GPWS terrain closure was triggered. Executed an immediate go-around. Returned on same approach and landed without incident. We need approval for VNAV/LNAV approaches.
