Narrative:
Flying at 32;000 ft in cloud with lightning below left and right. No thunderstorms reported by ATC and nothing showing on the radar. Encountered a strong updraft and heavy precipitation; aircraft on autopilot climbed rapidly 600 ft to 32;600 ft then started a rapid descent due to downdraft. As aircraft descended through 31;700 ft autopilot was disengaged. Aircraft continued to descend to 31;000 ft and then a recovery was made back to 32;000. No conflict of other traffic. We told ATC of our deviation and that it was weather related. No further action.

Title: A BAE125-800 at FL320 encountered a strong updraft followed by a downdraft which forced the aircraft initially up to FL326 then down to FL310 before the crew recovered to FL320.
