Narrative:
Right generator control off light illuminated at top of descent. Associated warnings and cautions were displayed. Right generator field and generator breaker opened. Associated buses were shed. As the first officer followed the flight manual procedure; I requested an expeditious descent to ensure a successful APU start. ATC complied. The generator control switch was recycled as per flight manual procedure. The generator was restored. All systems were operating normally. At FL210; the generator failed once again. A successful APU start was accomplished. An emergency was not declared. Flight continued without further complications and landed safely.

Title: B757 Captain experiences generator failure at top of descent and a QRH reset is successful. The generator faults again at FL210 and the APU is started and it's generator used for the remainder of the flight.
