Climbing out on the RUUDY2 departure at 1400 ft; we had numerous traffic advisories. Due to traffic search; the plane climbed to 1850 ft MSL; which is 350 ft higher than on the SID. Mistake was noticed while switching to ny departure.

Title: CE650 First Officer reports exceeding 1500 feet prior to WENTZ on the RUUDY2 RNAV departure from TEB while looking for traffic.
Narrative: Climbing out on the RUUDY2 departure at 1400 FT; we had numerous traffic advisories. Due to traffic search; the plane climbed to 1850 FT MSL; which is 350 FT higher than on the SID. Mistake was noticed while switching to NY Departure.
