Narrative:
After landing on; ground control cleared us to taxi south then a left turn on to taxiway D. After making the turn onto taxiway D it sounded like the wheel bearing fell out of the nose wheel. I decided that the plane should not be taxied any further and set the brakes. We contacted ground control and notified them of our situation. Then we notified dispatch; maintenance; and operations to formulate a plan. Maintenance showed up on the taxiway and said that we had indeed lost the bearings on the right front wheel. The bearing races were fused to the axle so they were unable to remove them and install a new tire on the taxiway. We deplaned the passengers onto buses. Once all passengers; baggage; and crew were off of the plane I turned control of the aircraft over to the maintenance personnel at the scene. Maintenance took the plane to the maintenance area after we left.

Title: CRJ900 Captain reports nose wheel bearing failure during taxi after landing. The bearing race is found fused to the axle and the wheel cannot be replaced on the taxiway; resulting in bus rides to the terminal for all.
