Narrative:
While performing crj-200 job card to clean and inspect APU fuel nozzles; I was helping mechanic 'X' and mechanic 'Y'. Mechanic 'X' was removing and installing the nozzles; mechanic 'Y' and I performed the inspection and cleaning. I was taking the nozzles from mechanic 'X' and handing them back to them after the cleaning and inspection. Upon completing the task; we performed the leak check when we found one fuel line disconnected; mechanic 'X' reconnected the line at that time. Mechanics 'X' and 'Y' taxied the aircraft back to the gate.the dayshift workers had to tighten the fuel line and perform another leak check.the fuel line is hard to see and access; so improving the job card for better ease of removal and installation would help.
