Narrative:
Parking at gate after a single engine taxi in. APU on line. Upon arrival at gate captain set parking brake when guide man gave stop signal. Crew noticed brake pressure accu-pressure/brakes gauge was zero. Aircraft continued to move forward (right engine still winding down). Crew released parking brake; applied brake toe pressure; selected yellow hydraulic pump on and stopped aircraft. Negative injury to ground personnel/aircraft.

Title: An A320's parking brake failed during taxi in and did not stop the aircraft. The Yellow Hydraulic pump was selected on and normal brakes utilized to stop the aircraft resulting in no injury or damage.
