This issue is not aircraft specific. I would like to bring a very serious safety matter to your attention regarding the new circuit breaker (circuit breaker) -lock- and -danger flag-; two separate items. Today I tried to order these safety items and ZZZ was out of stock of the danger flags and I also checked with the stores/tool supply at the terminal.

Title: A Line Mechanic reports his carrier requires mechanics to install a newer type of Circuit Breaker (CB) Lock and Danger flag when pulling (Open) a CB; but does not have any available in their Stores or Tool supply.
