Narrative:
As I was completing the turn into the gate; with the green lights on; it become apparent that a van that had been approaching us was not slowing down. I had to very aggressively stop the aircraft while turning on the runway turnoff lights to warn the driver in order to avoid a collision. The van had to back up in order for us to continue to the gate. We reported the incident to the ramp tower who later said they were unable to identify the van.
