Narrative:
All appropriate checklists performed to start engines. The ramp crew was in view of the captain and gave the engine start signal. Anti collision light came on and engines start was completed. Next thing we knew we heard over the radio an aircraft was damaged behind us which apparently taxied directly behind us. I then opened my window and could see an small aircraft type aircraft pointed right at our tail. He had a displaced wheel on the ramp and the aircraft was about 20-40' behind us. We radioed both ground and company to discover there were no injuries and continued the flight. Captain gave his name to flint ground control and inquired if they needed us to stay, and they said to go on. We did contact flint tower by telephone once we arrived at our destination to ensure everything was alright. Supplemental information from acn 86472: we had been directed away from ramp. Ramp agent was not aware of aircraft behind us.

Title: GA-SMA JET BLAST ENCOUNTER TAXIING BEHIND ACR-MLG. FLT CREW REPORTED THE INCIDENT.
Narrative: ALL APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS PERFORMED TO START ENGS. THE RAMP CREW WAS IN VIEW OF THE CAPT AND GAVE THE ENG START SIGNAL. ANTI COLLISION LIGHT CAME ON AND ENGS START WAS COMPLETED. NEXT THING WE KNEW WE HEARD OVER THE RADIO AN ACFT WAS DAMAGED BEHIND US WHICH APPARENTLY TAXIED DIRECTLY BEHIND US. I THEN OPENED MY WINDOW AND COULD SEE AN SMA TYPE ACFT POINTED RIGHT AT OUR TAIL. HE HAD A DISPLACED WHEEL ON THE RAMP AND THE ACFT WAS ABOUT 20-40' BEHIND US. WE RADIOED BOTH GND AND COMPANY TO DISCOVER THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND CONTINUED THE FLT. CAPT GAVE HIS NAME TO FLINT GND CTL AND INQUIRED IF THEY NEEDED US TO STAY, AND THEY SAID TO GO ON. WE DID CONTACT FLINT TWR BY TELEPHONE ONCE WE ARRIVED AT OUR DEST TO ENSURE EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 86472: WE HAD BEEN DIRECTED AWAY FROM RAMP. RAMP AGENT WAS NOT AWARE OF ACFT BEHIND US.
