Narrative:
Aircraft X encounter severe icing during holding then approach into an alaskan airport. The pilot had declared an emergency with center. This information was not passed to the appropriate flight service station. Recommendation; center should have advised FSS of the emergency so the appropriate resources could have been alerted.

Narrative: Aircraft X encounter severe icing during holding then approach into an Alaskan airport. The pilot had declared an emergency with Center.
