Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A Pilot flying BE-99 Airliner aircraft reports about the unserviceable conditions of their cargo restraint nets; barriers and straps. Worn latching clips and clip locking springs do not secure the restraints to the floor or sidewalls and allow freight to launch into the cockpit. Efforts to get the restraints repaired or replaced are allegedly not supported.
Narrative: Air Carrier will not repair/maintain cargo nets and barriers. The Pilot has minimal protection. Other nets in other aircraft will not fasten securely to floor and sidewalls.
