Narrative:
I was taking off on runway 14; in a tail dragger beech 18T. There was a 15 knot crosswind out of the east/northeast. As I was on the departure roll the aircraft veered off the runway onto the dirt on the east side of the runway. I brought the aircraft to a stop in the dirt. The aircraft did not hit anything. The tower asked me for my intentions and I expressed to them that I would like to taxi to an apron. I parked the aircraft on an apron; did an inspection; and found nothing to be wrong. I picked up my IFR clearance; ground clearance and taxied for departure. I departed safely and flew the airplane to my destination.
