Narrative:
While on approach when moving flaps from 20 to 5; we received an EICAS message for te flap disagree. A go-around was initiated and a clearance was received from ATC to climb to 3000 and turn to downwind. An emergency was declared. During climbout the flap handle was moved from 20 to 5 degrees. At level the aircraft accelerated to 220 IAS. The flap gauge was 20 degrees. The aircraft was slowed to within limits. The te flap disagree checklist was completed. Landing was uneventful.

Title: A B757's EICAS alerted TE FLAPS DISAGREE when flaps 20 was selected on approach. A go-around was executed; an emergency declared and preparation made for an emergency landing. The flaps remained at 20 and the aircraft exceeded the flaps 20 limit speed after the go-around;.
